Job Description
We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, Chile, home to the largest container depot operation.
This role plays a critical part in driving operational excellence, process standardization, and Lean Six Sigma initiatives across the depot.
You will work closely with operational teams, supervisors, and leaders to identify improvement opportunities, support project execution, and contribute to meaningful efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost‑reduction outcomes.
This is a hands-on, field-oriented role with significant interaction across the site, requiring strong analytical capabilities and the ability to build trust with frontline teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply and promote Lean methodologies including 5S, RCA, SMED, GEMBA, and other structured problem-solving tools.
- Facilitate the creation, implementation, and monitoring of improved work standards and operating procedures.
- Identify improvement opportunities in operational efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety through regular field visits and data analysis.
- Partner with site leaders, team leaders, and supervisors to co-create improvement initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor and change agent to frontline operations, building credibility and alignment.
- Support training initiatives around Lean principles and continuous improvement tools.
- Promote a culture of operational discipline, problem-solving, and standardization across the site.
Who We Are Looking For
- Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Civil, Logistics, Chemical, or related fields).
- 5 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, or process improvement roles.
- Proven track record implementing Lean methodologies within operational environments.
- Prior exposure to container depots, logistics, manufacturing, chemical, or industrial operations is considered a strong advantage.
- English Intermediate to advanced (writing, listening, and speaking).
- Green Belt Lean Six Sigma (required/ideal).
- Yellow Belt or Black Belt will also be considered.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with frontline teams.
- Ability to influence without authority and build trust quickly.
- Structured, methodical, disciplined, and detail‑oriented profile.
- Comfortable working in dynamic operational environments.
- Intermediate English proficiency (required).
Location Requirement
- Must reside in San Antonio or nearby areas within the Fifth Region
- Commuting support is not provided.
