As the Client Program Director (CPD) you lead the community to operationally serve our most valuable customers. You are an essential element of the global account team, delivering successful customer experience and business growth around the globe.

You are the client expert internally, and the client advisor externally.

You lead improvement and value adding projects and guide the implementation of new customer business for Maersk.

We are looking for

  • Interest and willingness to learn about the Key Client priorities and assess strategically how Maersk can serve them
  • Expertise and passion in driving Operational Excellence, Optimization, and value creation in E2E supply chain operation for customers
  • Experience in designing short term and long term program/operation plan and lead strategic conversation with your customers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead a strong account team and manage stakeholders on all levels both within Maersk and externally.
  • Global exposure with a proven record in global key client management
  • Customer centricity

You should have:

  • Degree educated preferably in Business/Logistics/Engineering
  • 10+ years relevant experience with a proven track record in operational/key account management/project management and/or supply chain management.
  • Proven and sustained track record of delivery, with focus on driving results through others.
  • Experience of working with wide variety of complex operational and commercial challenges.
  • Exposure and understanding of Business Improvement / Lean tools.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills.
  • Ability to interface with Executive Level Management.
  • Being a team member supporting the global/regional/country teams proactively

Key responsibilities

Service delivery and customer satisfaction

  • Enhance customer satisfaction
  • Host and engage in regular customer meetings, reviewing performance and making forward looking plans
  • Lead the customer transformation and verify implementation of value-creating projects in the customers supply chain

Productivity and Profitability

  • Find and implement possibilities of productivity improvement against service delivery level
  • Enable sharing of operational expertise and knowledge within the community to day-to-day execution and participation in inspirational workshops
  • Represent the customer’s interests internally during additional business implementations

Support account and Maersk growth

  • Co-create the account long term vision together with the commercial client director/manager
  • Develop and annual roadmap for the account to deliver the customer objectives and a set of priorities with the customer
  • Engage with Commercial, Operational and Product experts to explore new developments servicing the changes in customer demand
  • Host global/regional Client Program Management meetings, calls and share best practices proactively with the option to travel

Team and People Development

  • Set up plans for on-boarding, training, and development of the operations team
  • Be involved in objective setting & performance management of the operational team
  • Provide recognition & feedback proactively
