Role Purpose
The Optimization & Performance Analyst plays a key role in strengthening the terminal’s performance culture by turning data into meaningful operational insights. This role supports decision-making through analysis, system logic understanding, and performance monitoring.
Acting as a bridge between Operations, Planning, and IT/OT teams, the analyst ensures that both business processes and system configurations are aligned to deliver efficient, reliable, and scalable terminal performance. The role blends curiosity, technical capability, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Business & Performance Analysis
• Analyze operational KPIs to identify performance gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
• Conduct deep‑dive and root cause analyses across terminal processes
• Support business cases, impact assessments, and scenario modeling
• Translate analytical findings into practical recommendations that support operational and managerial decisions

Navis Optimization Modules Analysis
• Monitor and assess the performance of Navis optimization modules and configurations
• Analyze how optimization settings affect yard planning, equipment deployment, and overall terminal flow
• Identify gaps between system logic and real operational behavior
• Propose and support adjustments to configurations, collaborating with IT/OT, Planning, and Operations
• Validate and track performance improvements after configuration changes

Cross‑Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Operations, Planning, IT/OT, and other teams to ensure alignment between optimization logic and business priorities
• Act as a connector between system capabilities and operational execution
• Provide data-backed insights and facilitate structured workshops or discussions

Reporting & Visualization
• Build and maintain dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Maintain structured documentation of logic, assumptions, tests, and outcomes

Continuous Improvement & Governance
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the terminal
• Support data integrity, KPI alignment, and the standardization of reporting methods
• Explore new analytical tools, methods, and models to enhance optimization capabilities

What We’re Looking For
• Lean‑minded: we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement – someone who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Logistics, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, terminal operations, industrial environments, or data analytics
• Experience with terminal operating systems, especially Navis N4, is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency with Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with SQL and/or Python is an advantage
• Understanding of optimization logic and system behavior
