Are you an engineer comfortable working with a wide range of technologies? Do you enjoy building new systems from a blank slate as much as you love tweaking existing systems to achieve maximum performance? Would you like to be part of the product delivery team around the Customs Platform in Maersk? This is an opportunity to join Maersk's Technology organization as a Software Developer for our Customs Platform, and drive visible change at a globally respected, industry leading brand. Your responsibilities will be to:

· Develop, build, test, maintain and enhance the Customs platform.

· Build and maintain platform components to improve developer productivity and application reliability. Ensure seamless integration between various tools and services.

· Focus on platform performance, scalability, security, and reliability through continuous deployment, monitoring, logging, alerting and automation in the entire lifecycle of the platform product (inception, design, through development and operationalization)

· Collaborate with customers and the Product Managers to build new features and take active part in contributing to Product Roadmap.

Desired Skills

· 0-3 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Application Development or Software Engineering roles

· 0-3 years of experience working / using Java, Spring and related frameworks.

· Exposure to MongoDB, Postgres will be a plus.

· Exposure to Apache Kafka or any event streaming technologies would be a plus.

· Good knowledge on Azure Cloud would be a plus.

· Exposure to Kubernetes would be a plus.

· Write and maintain efficient, scalable, and maintainable code, with experience in building APIs.

· Good with the fundamentals of distributed systems design and development.

· Basic understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Github Actions, ArgoCD, FluxCD).

· Good understanding of SDLC process and engineering best practices.

· A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in engineering-focused teams, continuously learn new technologies, and adapt to evolving industry trends.

· Familiarity with Agile / Scrum practices.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.

· Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

· Knowledge and exposure to Agentic AI and AI frameworks would be a big plus.
