Job Description

As Associate Product Owner for our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Platform, you will play a key role in shaping the evolution and strategic direction of our core WMS capabilities. Working closely with senior team members, you’ll translate business needs into innovative technology solutions that optimize warehouse operations. This role requires a solid understanding of WMS functionalities, strong product management skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders. Your work will help ensure our WMS platform delivers efficiency, scalability, and a competitive edge across Maersk warehouse management system, cross-docking, and cold storage, while integrating seamlessly with our broader ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy

  • Support the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the WMS platform, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new product features and capabilities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Define and integrate feature enhancements within MWMS to support cross-docking, cold storage, and associated industry verticals
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to maximize value delivery.
  • Gather and evaluate requirements from stakeholders to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization.

Platform Ownership & Governance

  • Responsible on the core MWMS , Tech Pack, and Config Wizard modules.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including feature updates, product demo, training, release notes, and configuration details.
  • Ensure compliance with governance processes related to the WMS platform.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Assist with integration of WMS with other platforms and services (EDI/API, TMS, Billing & Invoicing, SCM, CIP, etc.).
  • Collaborate with technical sales, business development, and other departments on RFPs and technical solutions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., TCO, BD/Tech Sales, TPM, Integrations, Product/Customer Engineering, Ops Excellence) to identify and address business needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1–3 years’ experience with warehousing solutions and product management.
  • Experience in the logistics industry is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts, familiarity with Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, ability to query databases and manipulate data (eg.SQL), understanding of RAG(Retrieval-augmented Generation)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (business proficiency in English).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex, ambiguous challenges.
  • Quick to build relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Fast learner with a proactive approach to personal growth and development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of technologies supporting warehousing processes (e.g., WMS or related application).
  • Experience with Scrum or other agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data to support business cases.
