Description of Role
The ATR accounting manager is responsible for performing pre-defined ATR activities at Greater China Area level, oversees Gross Profit accounting, analysis and closing, Intercompany balance reconciliation, Balance Sheet reconciliation process, audit etc., and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to explain for GP results and continue improving standardization and automation of ATR process.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform revenue and cost accounting booking
Perform pre-checks of revenue and cost items at GCA level for L&S entities and take corrective action with entity user to ensure accuracy and no intersection errors before book close.
Communicate with relevant stakeholders on the result of revenue and cost
Revenue accounting treatment consultation
Intercompany balance reconciliation and settlement
Perform the Balance sheet reconciliation, substantiation and exposure assessment Follow up actions are well executed if any exposures are reported.
Act as automation SPOC of project manager like automation or NFTP
Support Area ATR teams on Audits like Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit, or any other Audit as initiated by different Authorities whenever there is requirement from Area ATR teams.
Other ad-hoc assignments or projects assigned from leader.
Key skills for the role:
Technical skills:
- Approx. 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience Finance and Accounts
- Profound knowledge of accounting and reporting.
- Accounting Qualifications like CPA
- Audit background
- Be familiar with end-to-end ATR(accounting to reporting) process, with expertise on period end close, capex, B/S reconciliation, internal controls, statutory audit, etc.
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint). VBA skills would be added advantage.
- Fluency in both oral and written English
