Air Operations Specialist

Job Description

Purpose of the Role
To manage and develop the Air Import & Export product by strengthening trade lane performance, driving collaboration with origin offices, and expanding business volumes across key customer segments including non-IATA forwarders, buying houses and BCOs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Air Import & Export product operations, ensuring efficiency, service quality, and compliance
• Drive trade lane development by closely collaborating with origin and destination offices to optimize performance and volumes
• Partner with regional and global product teams to support pricing for both ad-hoc and regular Air shipments
• Build and grow volumes by actively engaging non-IATA forwarders, buying houses, and Beneficial Cargo Owners (BCOs)
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operational execution and customer satisfaction
• Monitor and support achievement of product financial targets, including:
  • KPI management
  • Job costing accuracy and closure
  • Validation of internal costing
  • Profit share management
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute to the development and strengthening of the Air product portfolio
