Ki is the biggest global insurance tech company you’ve never heard of, unless you’ve been looking to insure a satellite, wind farm or music festival recently.

Having written over $877m in gross written premium in 2023, we’ve achieved significant growth since our beginnings in 2021. Our investors were excited about the fact we were revolutionising the way a 333 year-old industry was working. There are hardly any industries left that are mainly paper based, but the specialty insurance market is one. Together with partners at Google and UCL we developed Ki and created a platform that helps insurance brokers place risk in a fast and frictionless way. We’re continuing to lead the charge on the digitisation of this market and we need more excellent minds to work with us to realise this goal and create more opportunities.

We are looking for an experienced product leader to lead Ki’s growth pillar. Our growth squads are focused on improving the broker experience on our digital platform, driving increased conversion, share of wallet and retention. In addition, you’ll be involved in experimenting with new opportunities to drive growth, working with a small team to explore new technology, business model, and market opportunities and determine which opportunities to progress further.

Your focus will be on:

- Further defining and articulating the growth squads’ remit and ways of working to the rest of the business
- Collaborating with the Head of Marketing to ensure we have a joined-up approach on user activation and ongoing customer touchpoints
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve our conversion funnel and retention and fostering a culture of experimentation and iteration
- Developing a supportive, high-performance culture within the growth squads
- Leading, mentoring and coaching team members, including goal setting and facilitating professional development
- Developing a strong understanding of the market landscape and technological innovations within it as well as identify trends, insights, and opportunities
- Working with the Ki Management team to align on the most promising areas for exploration and determining how we can test the initial viability of different opportunities

The role is inherently cross functional, and you will be expected to work with the different functions within Ki including Underwriting, Marketing, Operations & Portfolio Management.
