The Sales Enablement Team

As we pursue our mission and serve our customers our commercial and sales activity is rapidly expanding; we must build our Sales Enablement capabilities to support these efforts. This hire will be the first hire in this team and will work with the Strategy & Business Transformation Director and key stakeholders within the Sales team to build out a robust and scalable Sales Enablement function. The Sales Enablement team will expand alongside the Sales team, as the organization grows, which creates opportunity for this person to develop, and achieve career progression.

Scope of the Role

In this role as Sales Enablement Manager, reporting into Director Strategy & Business Transformation you will be a pivotal part of our sales transformation. You will support the delivery of robust & scalable sales processes and ensure the sales team have the correct commercial processes and tools in place to drive efficiency, measure, and track productivity and support rapid growth.

How You’ll Succeed

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Optimise Salesforce for reporting, forecasting and dashboard creation.
  • Ensure correct integration between Salesforce & Hubspot.
  • Manage Salesforce and Hubspot requests e.g. use of new fields, new KPIs, report requests etc., system troubleshooting and escalations
  • Produce and automate reports and KPIs for the sales team and senior stakeholders, to clearly articulate sales productivity, pipeline metrics, conversion rates and lead generation.
  • Develop and improve current dashboards that are fit for purpose for Management and Board level presentations.
  • Analyse performance data to ensure strategy is improving sales productivity.
  • Ensure regular and accurate reporting is delivered to the sales team and the Senior Leadership Team, highlighting areas of potential risk.

Go-to-market Readiness (GTM)

  • Lead on all GTM activities, ensuring the Sales team are armed with best in class GTM collateral to sell effectively.
  • Work in close collaboration with Marketing to produce external & internal facing materials, ensuring Marketing have a clear roadmap of sales needs quarter on quarter e.g. customer sales presentations, battlecards, pitchbook/sales deck
  • Facilitate the delivery of sales training, working closely with Product Management to ensure the right level of value messaging is delivered to the sales team.
  • Serve as the liaison between Sales, Product Management and Marketing to always ensure clarity on the Offering Strategy and Product Roadmap.
  • Call out risks and barriers to success where necessary and suggest mitigating actions.

Processes & Tools

  • Streamline & optimize the end-to-end sales process to improve conversions and maximise wins.
  • Manage the maintenance of sales information captured within Salesforce and be an advocate for how current processes can be improved.
  • Work with the Commercial Director to analyse the productivity and effectiveness of the Sales team and make tools and process improvement recommendations.
  • Review the current sales toolkit and where required make recommendations of where to improve, then lead on implementing any changes.

  • You have experience in implementing improvements to sales processes to aid sales growth.
  • You understand what is required to successfully go to market with a new product or feature, ensuring value is articulated correctly.
  • You are able to identify sales process improvements and demonstrate clearly how to implement them.
  • You are comfortable taking initiative and actively seek out opportunities to drive our continued success.
  • Be an advocate for change management. You can help those around you handle uncertainty, understanding how to motivate others to buy-in.
  • You are results-focused and work collaboratively & pro-actively.
  • You can communicate with intent and purpose to influence internal stakeholder groups and drive cross-functional collaboration towards common goals.
  • You can demonstrate having worked with Salesforce and Hubspot.
