We’re looking for our first Senior Product Designer to join the team. This is a rare opportunity to shape the design direction of a new product from the ground up. You'll be embedded in a small, high-trust, cross-functional team where design has a seat at the table from day one.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep backend expertise to help build our platform with rock-solid, production-grade code that meets world-class industry standards. You'll work across the stack with emphasis on creating robust, scalable backend systems while maintaining strong frontend capabilities. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement high-performance services and APIs that power exceptional user experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services and infrastructure

  • Build and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access patterns

  • Create robust APIs that enable seamless frontend-backend integration

  • Implement efficient caching strategies and performance optimizations

  • Develop, test, and maintain reliable code with comprehensive test coverage

  • Participate in architectural discussions and system design decisions

  • Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure cohesive end-to-end implementations

  • Establish monitoring, logging, and observability best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated fullstack capabilities

  • Strong expertise in backend technologies and frameworks (Node.js, Python, Go, or similar)

  • Solid understanding of database technologies and optimization (SQL, NoSQL)

  • Experience with API design and implementation (REST, GraphQL)

  • Excellent knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or similar)

  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines

  • Experience with performance optimization and scalability challenges

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures.

  • Knowledge of message queues and event-driven architectures.

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events).

  • Background in high-throughput or low-latency system design.

  • Understanding of security best practices and implementation.
