The role

Our Production Planning Team is essential to ensuring our customers receive the Huel they love, on time, every time. In this role, you'll blend analytical thinking with operational expertise to keep our production lines running efficiently and stock levels balanced, directly enhancing the customer experience.

This internally-focused planning role centres on our Huel in-house factory, where you’ll be the primary planning interface between HQ and the factory team, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and seamless execution of production plans across all product categories manufactured on site. Here's an insight into your day-to-day

  • Deliver on Our Customer Promise of ‘Never Out of Stock’: Balance product availability and wastage risk by maintaining optimal production plans and finished goods stock levels across all sales channels
  • Own the Factory Supply Plan: Develop, maintain, and optimise a robust production and supply plan for all product categories manufactured at the Huel MK factory, ensuring capacity, plan efficiency and commercial demand are consistently balanced.
  • Be the Planning Link Between HQ and Factory: Act as the key liaison between the Huel HQ supply team and the Huel MK factory team. You'll be responsible for ensuring production plans are effectively communicated, aligned, and executed on-site.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with materials, packaging, and sourcing teams to ensure timely readiness of inputs, and partner with the logistics team to plan efficient outbound movements of finished goods.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Champion supply planning best practices within the team and identify ways to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and unlock production capacity at the factory.
  • Problem-Solve in Real Time: Quickly troubleshoot and resolve supply issues in collaboration with the factory team, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations and customer experience.
  • Data-Driven Insight & Reporting: Produce clear, timely reports on product availability, capacity utilisation, and forward coverage. Use data to inform decisions and pre-empt issues.

  • System Accuracy: Ensure all planning-related activities are accurately recorded in our systems, helping maintain end-to-end visibility and integrity in our supply chain data.

What we're looking for in you

We’re after someone who blends technical capability with a proactive mindset, someone who sees supply chain planning as both a science and an opportunity to innovate. Here’s what we think you’ll bring:

  • We’re especially keen to hear from candidates with STEM backgrounds (e.g. Maths, Engineering, Physics), or anyone with strong analytical and data-driven experience in supply chain, operations, or planning roles.
  • Confidence working with data, comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets, and ideally familiar with data tools or supply chain systems.
  • A strong analytical approach to problem-solving, able to identify patterns, forecast needs, and make recommendations based on numbers.
  • Extreme attention to detail. You care about accuracy, whether it’s stock levels, lead times, or wastage forecasts.
  • With a collaborative working style, you’ll interact with teams across Huel, so communication and teamwork are key.
  • Adaptability and drive, you’re energised by fast-paced environments and love taking ownership of your work.
