Hi I'm Akhil Vutukuri the QA Team Lead at HowNow 👋🏾 I’m looking for a Sr. SDET to join us.

At HowNow, you'll have the opportunity to implement all aspects of non-functional testing from scratch, giving you hands-on experience and the chance to shape our testing framework. Day-to-day tasks will include 📩

• You’ll design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and Test Scenarios for manual testing.
• You’ll collaborate with Product Managers and Development teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
• You’ll develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and tools like Selenium, Playwright, and Appium.
  
• You’ll conduct API testing using Postman and API automation with Rest Assured.
  
• You’ll integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain CI/CD processes.
  
• You’ll utilize version control systems such as GIT for test script management and versioning.
• You’ll write SQL queries for Database Testing.
• You’ll analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure their timely resolution.
  
• You’ll mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best testing practice.

The key things that we will be looking for in applicants 🔑

• You have 4 - 6 years of experience with automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, and Appium.
• You have proven experience in manual testing and a deep understanding of testing processes.
  
• You have strong programming skills in Java.
  
• You have expertise in API testing with Postman and Rest Assured
• You have solid experience in performance testing using JMeter and K6.
• You have understanding of CI/CD platforms and processes.
  
• You have familiarity with version control systems, specifically GIT.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You have excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

3. You'll be invited to a 90-minutes video call with Akhil Vutukuri, our QA Team Lead for a live coding test and test your Automation and Non functional testing competencies.
