Job Description:

We are looking for a senior software developer to join our existing team. Working in an agile environment, the job will involve working on both new and existing products & the tasks will be varied across the full development stack. You will also be expected to be able to gather requirements from stakeholders & effectively translate these requirements into development tasks (user stories), as well as being available to assist and mentor other members of the team where necessary.

Required Skills:

At least 5 years’ commercial experience working with the following:

  • ASP.Net with C#
  • MVC 5
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Entity Framework
  • JavaScript/JQuery Frameworks
  • HTML & CSS

Experience of automated testing (MsTest/Moq/TDD) and awareness of test methodologies

Experience working in an Agile environment

Experience mentoring & guiding more junior team members

Excellent problem-solving skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

Experience using Microsoft Azure (Portal, cloud)

Experience developing using Telerik Kendo UI

Experience developing responsive, mobile websites

Experience of automated deployment (Octopus)

Continuous integration

Typescript

Web Api

.NET Core

TFS (Azure Dev Ops) (build, and work management)

Git (source control)

Head of Technical, Lead Developer & software developers. The new software developer would report to the Head of Technical.
