- London-based - Reporting to the Head of Order Operations
- First Buyer in the organisation, with the scope to create and build strategy and process. A role with impact and influence
- Opportunity to work with global suppliers and a global purchasing plan.
About the role
As a Senior Buyer at Hofy you will be working with our suppliers across the world to ensure that we have everything our clients need to onboard their remote employees. In this role you will:
- Manage supplier relationships globally.
- Build credible relationships with new suppliers and develop an effective sourcing strategy.
- Work with suppliers to develop a strong understanding of their technology roadmaps, enabling adequate planning.
- Negotiate product ranges, cost pricing, terms, distribution, stock availability.
- Maintain an awareness of marketplace activity and innovations. Using this information to ensure that categories are performant.
- 5+ years procurement experience with minimum of 2+ years in an IT environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to manage all supplier partnerships at varying levels of seniority.
- Experience of managing multiple project strands simultaneously and working at pace to challenging deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes, with strategic sourcing experience.
