That’s where you come in.

We maintain a network of subcontracted experts including writers, reviewers and innovation coaches. Our network and in-house experts collaborate to create compelling and engaging narratives that speak to the requirements of the funding services; capturing the imagination of the audience to secure consistent wins for our clients.

You will lead and grow our subcontracted community, who are an extended family to us, building strong relationships and acting as their internal champion. You'll also work closely with our acquisition and delivery partners to facilitate collaboration on projects and to source candidates with complimentary specialisms.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Liaise with subcontractors to gauge availability, and capacity to proactively manage our supplier relationships
• Interface with Client Acquisition and Product Operations teams to ensure a smooth pipeline of delivery

• Source and introduce new talent to our subcontractor community - including, screening, contract negotiations, on-boarding and regular performance reviews
• Match fit resource to individual projects to maximise the success rate of our portfolio of funding applications
• Manage key stakeholders expectations and workloads with high levels of internal and external customer service
• Assist in maintaining the high quality of product services
• Pursue new initiatives which further our community goals.

We envisage this to be most suited initially as a part-time role and welcome applicants searching for between 50%-75% FTE. That said, GrantTree is a fast-growing business and roles develop quickly here!

Requirements

• Outstanding communication skills: Comfortable advocating for others and giving constructive feedback
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills
• Comfortable working with remote teams on multiple projects
• A self-starter, experienced in fostering exceptional team environments
• Experience in working to tight deadlines
• Be a creative problem-solver who is able to provide solutions that fit clients’ and the business expectations

Desired

• Experience working in a similar role for at least 1 year in a dynamic startup or scale up environment
• A track record of improving processes and successfully implementing change
• Experience of coaching and developing others
• Understanding of OKRs
• Some knowledge of physical or biological sciences, acquired professionally or through personal experience
• Genuine interest in the innovation space, specifically scientific and technological advances, keen to continue learning about this area

For this role, the salary will be £30k - £40k FTE, depending on experience.
