FINANCE
We're a global team with a presence in all of our locations around the world. Our biggest teams are based in the UK and Portugal. Our team in Porto focuses on financial reporting and operations, while the Group Finance team in London is made up of Corporate Development, Tax, Treasury and Commercial Finance. All of our teams play an instrumental role within the business, from developing best practice, delivering strategic projects and helping us to tell our story with data.
SÃO PAULO
Our São Paulo office is located in the heart of the city, a region full of cultural spaces and history. The office houses several different teams, from Operations to Technology. We have an auditorium where we can host presentations, lectures and fun activities!
THE ROLE
Strategically support the business by ensuring there are proper processes and controls in place allowing statutory, regulatory and managerial compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will manage the Brazil and Mexico accounting, tax, fin ops and treasury teams ensuring timely and accurate statutory and global deliverables. The role includes, but it is not limited to direct management of tax and accounting for statutory and global standards, comprising Brazil and Mexico;
  • You will manage North America´s (US and Canada) needs, working in connection with the Central Accounting, Fin Ops and Treasury Teams;
  • You will identify and implement, finance and cross-functional, operational improvements leading to increased accuracy and efficiency of the month end and overall processes;
  • You will oversee automation and improvement across the Finance spectrum ensuring the design and effectiveness of systems and controls provides a strong and robust environment, with effective Sarbanes-Oxley compliant control frameworks;
  • You will provide analytical support of trial balances and budget;
  • You will promote team development.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years experienced professional with Finance and Accounting background;
  • You have proven experience in areas of accounting, controlling or auditing;
  • You are experienced in Brazil statutory accounting, IFRS and USGAAP;
  • You implemented financial systems in the past or auditing a company with recent implementation;
  • Experience with multi-business Groups with multiple priorities advantageous;
  • You have strong commercial awareness and business acumen;
  • You can operate in ambiguous and changing situations to deliver on the right results;
  • You can self-motivate in fast paced and rapidly changing environment with competing deadlines;
  • You are proactive, enthusiastic, ambitious and passionate with attention to detail;
  • You are a strong team player with the ability to interact with those outside Finance teams to deliver preferred outcomes;
  • Experience managing people and teams is mandatory;
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
