Farfetch Media Solutions operates at the intersection of luxury e-commerce and advertising.
THE ROLE
As the Senior Business Development Marketing Manager, you will report into the Media Solutions Director and support with global business strategy, opportunity development, and portfolio management. The role partners closely with senior leadership working cross-functionally in a complex matrix environment including teams commercial buying/e-concessions, planning, production, creative, and regional sales teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage the global business development strategy with guidance from the department Director inclusive of new partner marketing opportunities, account assignments, as well as portfolio balancing and management
  • Manage the development and packaging of new products and services in collaboration with Director, specifically scoping, pricing, and collateral development; serve as an internal subject matter expert for these new opportunities
  • support the Director in developing complex top tier partner-specific proposals which includes but is ot limited to writing internal briefs, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to full funnel programming inclusive of content, retail media, and customer activations.
  • Create and manage regional opportunities to package for the global sales team to take to market
  • Manage the internal resource and knowledge material required by sales teams to be successful in selling to vendors (sales collateral, rate cards, training materials); work with the ops executive to manage updating materials, sell sheets, general presentations, and case studies
  • Ensure that all work meets the standards of the brand, and all aspects of written, design, and execution are of the highest quality
  • Serve as sales team consultant on account and media planning using commercial knowledge and ad product insights to develop and customise pitches
  • Remain active with sales team and internal stakeholders throughout the pitch and execution process to provide status, issue escalation, alignment to strategic goals, and measurement to ensure successful execution and reporting of activity
  • Support team with sales planning including but not limited to: capturing and owning action items from sales meeting as well as developing team trackers for information gathering for light analysis; attending weekly commercial meetings

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have experience in both the strategic and executional aspects of brand marketing and communications, perhaps working alongside sales teams
  • You have experience in developing compelling integrated marketing programs; strong copywriting skills with excellent organisational and project management skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • You are customer service and solution oriented with problem-solving, resourceful and strategic thinking skills
  • You are curious and not afraid to ask questions in order to self-educate and in the interest of supporting and servicing the strategic needs of the business unit
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-changing environment and juggling multiple priorities
  • You have a “can do” attitude, with solution oriented approach
  • You have 5-7 years experience in advertising side of publishing, digital advertising, and/or retail media
  • High proficiency in keynote experience with complex excel functions and/or Adobe creative suite like photoshop is a plus
