BRAND

LONDON
Our London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. Our open plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Editor with a background in luxury fashion, digital publishing and e-commerce. The Deputy will be responsible for overseeing all daily content across Web and App whilst also working closely with other channels to ensure a joined-up content experience across all FARFETCH global platforms. Working closely with the Head of Content, they will ensure that the content and creative teams deliver work to the highest standard, and will provide regular story concepts and story ideation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of the editorial copy team, upholding copy processes, supporting the team with project management and liaising with wider business to ensure smooth running of department
  • Act as the primary point of contact for copy queries and editorial requests.
  • Provide a first edit of all editorial content – marketing, social, advertorial, ad hoc projects etc – and ensure it adheres to the FARFETCH tone of voice, before final review by Head of Content and department head
  • Work closely and communicate efficiently with teams across the business – including marketing team, design, planning, SEO, loyalty etc – to ensure that creative channels are aligned with FARFETCH’s commercial needs and strategic priorities
  • Work closely with the SEO, fashion, commercial and design teams to ideate, schedule and produce the monthly SEO calendar. Act as the primary point of contact for SEO content
  • Support the Head of Content in ideating and developing creative opportunities for brands on FARFETCH to create meaningful content campaign
  • Liaise with project managers and external PR contacts for FARFETCH brands to create strong editorial content.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Strong understanding of digital publishing and SEO.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and multiple priorities, and ensuring all team members do the same.
  • Experience working within Google Drive is essential.
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as Trello and Monday would be beneficial.
  • Collaborative, flexible, diplomatic and dynamic.
