Turati is where the behind the scenes driving force of NGG is brought to life; this is harmonized with the archive exhibits of brand collaborations found throughout the officeTHE ROLENew Guards Group is currently looking for a Head of Procurement, that will join the company with the main aim of ensuring the consistency, cost-effectiveness, efficiency and adequacy of the procurement process, in strong connection with all departments. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and lead the purchasing process for indirect goods and services from selecting suppliers to ensuring budget alignment, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Act as a point of contact between the company departments and suppliers
• Identify potential suppliers based on specific requirements given by the business
• Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
• Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing
• Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production
• Process purchase orders to acquire goods
• Work closely with the legal and finance department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company and the budget provisions are respected
• Attend meetings with the company team, vendors and suppliers
• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Implement the IT system that track purchase orders, invoices and budget (Wisebuy), in cooperation with parent company Farfetch; manage business as usual and continuous improvements when system is implemented
• Manage relationships with Brokers and negotiation of scope of coverages and Insurance rates

WHO YOU ARE

• Master's degree in business administration
• Extensive experience working in the procurement department in a fashion/luxury company
• Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including Wise Buy and Microsoft Dynamics.
• In-depth knowledge of contracts review, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
• Deep knowledge of the industry and market conditions
• Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in english and italian
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
