FINANCE

We're a global team with a presence in all of our locations around the world. Our biggest teams are based in the UK and Portugal. Our team in Porto focuses on financial reporting and operations, while the Group Finance team in London is made up of Corporate Development, Tax, Treasury and Commercial Finance. All of our teams play an instrumental role within the business, from developing best practice, delivering strategic projects and helping us to tell our story with data.

LONDON

Our London office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. Our open plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.

THE ROLE

The Group FP&A Analyst is a new role in the team and will report to one of our FP&A Managers, supporting the Group's internal financial reporting requirements including supporting the monthly Management Accounts and internal Executive reporting processes. You will also support the quarterly earnings process, working closely with External Reporting and Investor Relations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support the month end process to ensure accurate delivery of the Management Accounts , working with the Accounting team and partnering across Treasury and Commercial Finance.
  • Partner with the Internal Reporting and BI teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of certain non-financial transactional metrics included in our monthly/ quarterly reporting.
  • Coordination and preparation of monthly internal reports to support the wider FP&A team, including Finance Director and Exec Packs. Identifying and investigating the resolution of any issues with the Management Accounts to ensure accuracy of reporting
  • Help with the quarterly reporting and review processes. This will include preparation of quarterly reports and data, including the collation of important metrics to support the Investor Relations & CFO presentations.
  • Identify potential areas for improvement to the month and quarterly reporting processes, taking the initiative to get these approved and implemented.
  • Support the Internal Reporting and SAP teams on a range of improvement and automation projects, including testing and review of any changes/developments.
  • Support the development of reporting for business changes and new business acquisitions.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have university degree and an accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or are studying towards one
  • Industry experience is preferable (but not essential).
  • Good excel skills (vlookups, Pivots) and
  • Effectively manage competing priorities to ensure delivery of the most critical tasks within appropriate timelines
  • Demonstrate high levels of enthusiasm and a working in a fast paced environment
