LONDONOur flagship boutique is located on Brook Street in the heart of Mayfair, and comprises four stunning levels of architectural delight, a unique edit of luxury fashion, and allows for an immersive customer experience connected at all touchpoints.
THE ROLEWe are on the lookout for an experienced Fine Jewellery Specialist to deliver a seamless customer experience in our dedicated Fine Jewellery department. Based in our Flagship store on Brook Street you will utilise your in-depth Fine Jewellery knowledge and passion for product to connect with clients through storytelling. Working with unique product and one-of-a-kind pieces, you will adopt a commercial mindset in order to achieve sales targets, working across Men’s Fine Jewellery, Women’s Fine Jewellery and Fine Watches.THE ROLEWe’re looking for a Fine Jewellery and Watches Manager who will be based in our flagship Mayfair boutique. True to Browns style, our take on jewellery and watches means this department is filled with a unique assortment of one-of-a-kind pieces and custom capsule jewellery collections exclusive to Browns. The department comprises of women’s fine jewellery, men’s fine jewellery, and fine watches. You’ll truly champion the department, leading from the front in delivering an exceptional customer experience, coaching the team to be product experts, and ensure the department is organised and operationally sound.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will be the retail ‘voice’ for Fine Jewellery and will take ownership of how the department is presented to customers and engaged with by our teams.
  • You will drive Fine Jewellery and Watch sales with a multi-channel approach, through both our stores as well as brownsfashion.com.
  • You will lead, coach and motivate the Fine Jewellery sales team, supporting them to achieve their KPI’s and developing their skills and capability.
  • You will analyse sales performance across the jewellery department, identifying patterns and opportunities, and translating these into practical tactics for the team to drive performance.
  • You will work hand-in-hand with the Jewellery Buying department and will offer performance insight, client feedback and suggestions to improve the assortment and allocation.
  • You will work closely with the Personal Shopping team in order to generate sales opportunities for our elite clients and also to prepare for and facilitate trunk shows and client events.
  • You will continuously self-educate on all aspects of brands, collections and products and encourage your team do the same.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have proven experience within a luxury jewellery business.
  • You have strong leadership skills with an interest in coaching and developing others.
  • You are GIA (or equivalent) qualified, preferably in diamond grading, colour stone grading, gem identification, and pearl grading.
  • You have a proven track record in contributing towards achieving departmental targets.
  • You are confident building and maintain relationships with a wide variety of clients and can manage your customer book effectively.
  • You have a keen interest in luxury jewellery and fashion and stay up to date with trends and designers.
