Our end-to-end solutions include: build and management of website, app or digital in-store experience, complete with payments, an order management system, global logistics, stock optimisation and content management systems. About the role:
As part of the FPS Client Services team you will lead a cross-functional team in providing best in class e-commerce strategy to deliver brand and business growth for your portfolio of clients. This is the perfect role for someone with strong experience within luxury retail and e-commerce to drive the future success of some of the most preeminent brands, boutiques and department stores in the industry. As the first Japan member of the FPS Client Services team, this role also offers the opportunity to be the primary conduit and first point of contact between the commercial teams in London, the global cross functional teams and the brand(s) and to build the region-specific foundational processes that will support APAC x new client business development and onboarding as the pipeline grows.

What you’ll do:

  • Be a key point of contact for a portfolio of top tier FPS clients, identifying and formulating plans to drive the brands’ digital strategy and ecommerce growth using levers across: digital marketing, adoption of new FPS-driven functionalities/products and services, pricing, website optimization, merchandising and operational planning
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and engagement across all clients that sit under your remit, with the ultimate measures of success being that they i)grow their FPS-driven business demonstrated by strong topline results and strong ecommerce performance KPIs and ii)deepen their partnership with FPS by full leveraging the platform solutions, products, capabilities and matching them to the brands’ business+digital ambitions iii) consistent and high CSAT results
  • Take full ownership of client targets within your portfolio, implementing initiatives to ensure performance targets are met, defining the digital strategy development for FPS clients aligned to their overall business goals
  • Be responsible for Quarterly Business Reviews with Directors and C-level client team members
  • Cross functional communication and collaboration (e.g. Ops, Production, Finance and Tech) and Farfetch (e.g. Media Solutions, E-concessions) to exchange critical information about clients or to improve the service offering on all channels
  • Identify initiatives to build client revenue and cross sell opportunities
  • Work with the Sr. Business Development Director and identify new business opportunities for FPS, working with a range of luxury brand, boutiques, and partners to develop new partnerships on the platform
  • Work with the wider FPS team to lead the discovery process and help create tailored solutions, relevant to our client's needs which result in new partnership signings

Who you are:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in a consultancy, retail or e-commerce role
  • Experience building and maintaining key client relationships, proven ability to prioritise multiple client demands and confidence presenting to senior client partners
  • High level of business acumen and commercial awareness, and driven by the ability to work towards metrics and targets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of ecommerce KPIs
  • Fluent in Japanese and business fluent in English
  • Thrive in autonomy and resilient in the face of ambiguity
  • Strong organisational skills, with project management experience a plus
  • Experience working with teams across different time zones also a plus
