FARFETCH PLATFORM SOLUTIONS (FPS):
We’re the team that builds e-commerce for luxury. Ranging from Product, to Commercial, to Client Services to Marketing, we’re the B2B side of FARFETCH building white label websites, apps and retail technology for world-leading brands and retailers. We’re a diverse group of fashion and tech lovers all with the same goal - to build, and become the global platform for luxury.
THE ROLE:As part of the FPS Client Services team you will lead a cross-functional team in providing best in class e-commerce strategy to deliver digital channel, brand and business growth for a strategic, enterprise level FPS client. This is the perfect role for someone with strong experience within retail and e-commerce to drive the future success of some of the most preeminent brands, boutiques and department stores in the industry. The role provides the opportunity for future hire, management and mentorship of an E-Commerce Strategy Consultant.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Be a key point of contact for a strategic, enterprise level FPS client. The Manager role includes formulating plans to drive roadmap and business growth using data-driven insights, analysis and creative problem-solving - all to drive tangible commercial growth
  • Define and build FPS' Italy Client Services strategy by identifying synergies between key Italian clients and developing strategic recommendations; own the portfolio and performance of Italian clients
  • Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, with the ultimate measures of success being that they grow their business, adopt our platform offerings and further deepen their partnership with FPS
  • Accountability and ownership of client targets and roadmap initiatives; i) implementing initiatives to ensure performance targets are met (across trade, operations, ecommerce) ii) collaborating with all the cross functional teams to ensure strong roadmap processes, communication and deliverables
  • Oversees cross-functional client projects ensuring teams deliver on time and in full
  • Takes ownership or identifies appropriate owners to ensure resolution of complex client issues.
  • Comfortable with delivering updates to and maintaining strong communication lines with the C-level client team members including the management of complex and challenging topics across business, product/roadmap and operations
  • Ownership of Quarterly Business Reviews with Directors and C-level client team members
  • Creates annual budget and forecasts for the client and identifies strategies, plans needed to ensure these forecasts are achieved/beaten
  • Works closely with relevant Farfetch teams on special projects/activations
  • Identify initiatives to build client revenue and opportunities to broaden the FPS services that a clients partner with us on
  • Works with Senior Manager to define strategy development for FPS brands, aligned to overall business goals
  • Communicates with other departments and teams both within FPS (e.g. Ops, Production and Tech, Commercial Project Management) and Farfetch (e.g. Econcessions, Business Development, Account Management, Media Solutions) to exchange critical information about clients, special projects or to improve the service offering
  • Keeps abreast of industry developments and translates this knowledge into strategic guidance for brands and FPS

WHO YOU ARE

  • High level of business acumen and commercial awareness, and driven by the ability to work towards metrics and targets
  • Strong experience in a consultancy, retail or e-commerce role with exposure to/experience in project management
  • Takes a holistic view of the client's business, beyond just their e-commerce performance
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple client demands including problem-solving / the ownership of cross-functional issues
  • Experience and genuine interest in building and maintaining key client relationships
  • Digital, retail and luxury fashion industry knowledge and competitor positioning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bias for action and strong organisational skills; ability to create project plans and see them through to execution
  • Previous people management experience including coaching, hiring and building teams
  • Proficient/Fluent in Italian
