Job Description

At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.

Join EY and help to build a better working world.

The opportunity

Join the Global Data Office (GDO) as a member of the Trusted Data Governance team. This team works to design and implement governance as part of EY’s AI-Ready Data Strategy. This role focuses on operationalizing data governance to streamline access to AI-ready data through EY’s AI Data Marketplace. You will work internally with many stakeholders, including the Data Stewardship Office, Risk Management, General Counsel’s Office, Data Protection, Information Security, as well as service line stakeholders. This opportunity focuses heavily on EY’s AI data strategy, but it also translates to our client conversations as a “client zero” story of our path forward.

Your key responsibilities

  • Understand service line data strategies and design governance tailored to support them while balancing relevant risks.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders with varying levels of understanding and expertise, including stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrate strong storytelling capabilities that support change management activities while keeping stakeholders actively involved and engaged.
  • Coordinate data requirements across multiple teams to create a process for governing trusted data products. This includes data management and data quality, as well as translating policy requirements into practical operating procedures.
  • Document requirements from various stakeholders and manage feedback on functional components.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience implementing governance frameworks in response to changes in legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policy changes.
  • Background working across teams toward an organizational strategic goal.
  • Understanding of technical build cycles and requirements-gathering techniques.
  • Ability to transform dense materials into operational, practical guidance and support.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and take ownership of initiatives, ensuring progress and delivery of results.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, effectively identifying priorities with a solution-oriented mindset.

What we offer you

At EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences. We’ll empower you in a flexible environment, and fuel you and your extraordinary talents in a diverse and inclusive culture of globally connected teams. Learn more.
