EY UK | Consulting | AI & Data

Senior Manager – AI & Data

Solution Shaping & Delivery Leadership | London (hybrid, UK client travel)

Turn client challenges into practical AI and data solutions, then lead their delivery from mobilisation through to measurable value.

The opportunity

Our UK AI & Data practice helps organisations across Government, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Retail, Utilities and Telecommunications realise value from AI and data. As a Senior Manager, you will lead complex programmes end to end, shape credible solutions and proposals, and use delivery excellence to build trusted relationships and create follow-on opportunities.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead large, multi-workstream AI and data programmes from mobilisation through production and value realisation.
  • Own delivery plans, governance, RAID, quality assurance, budgets, margin, forecasting and change control.
  • Challenge designs and make informed trade-offs across quality, security, scalability, cost and responsible AI.
  • Define and track business KPIs so delivery produces tangible outcomes, not only technology outputs.
  • Shape solutions on Microsoft, Databricks or Snowflake, with credible estimates, plans and resourcing models.
  • Lead proposals, orals and demonstrations, articulating value to business and technical audiences.
  • Build and coach onshore and offshore teams, while identifying and converting extensions and adjacent opportunities.

Skills and attributes for success

You will combine client focus, commercial judgement and inclusive leadership with the ability to connect business outcomes to robust AI and data delivery.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A strong record of leading large-scale AI and data programmes into production as the accountable delivery lead.
  • Deep hands-on experience in at least one of Microsoft, Databricks or Snowflake.
  • Experience shaping solutions and proposals with credible estimation, planning and commercial management.
  • Confident communication with business and technical stakeholders, plus evidence of growing engagements through delivery.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • GenAI and agentic AI delivery experience, including RAG, orchestration, evaluation or LLMOps.
  • Experience leading blended onshore and offshore teams.
  • Relevant delivery, agile or platform certifications; security clearance or eligibility for Government work is advantageous.

What we look for

We are looking for a delivery-focused leader who starts with the client problem, brings structure to complexity and maintains high standards from solution design through implementation. You will balance technical credibility, commercial discipline and inclusive team leadership.

What we offer

  • Continuous learning: You’ll develop the mindset and skills to navigate whatever comes next.
  • Success as defined by you: We’ll provide the tools and flexibility so you can make a meaningful impact, your way.
  • Transformative leadership: We’ll give you the insights, coaching and confidence to be the leader the world needs.
  • Diverse and inclusive culture: You’ll be embraced for who you are and empowered to use your voice to help others find theirs.

If you can demonstrate that you meet the criteria above, please contact us as soon as possible.

The exceptional EY experience. It’s yours to build.
