eduMe is a mobile training platform that uses technology to empower deskless workers to be successful in their roles. The Team:

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager who is passionate about supporting a highly technical group of software engineers working to make the eduMe platform reliable, scalable, and easy to integrate with.

The Platform tribe is currently made up of two squads—one focused on building on and improving the tooling and infrastructure eduMe runs on and the other focused on building an incredible internal and external facing developer experience.

As Engineering Manager, you’ll work closely with the engineers in your tribe to prioritise work, facilitate collaboration and technical decision making, remove barriers, and set everyone up for success in both their day to day work and their careers at eduMe.

What you’ll do:

• Lead a highly technical tribe of software engineers, consisting of two squads of 6-8 engineers with a range of experience
• Hire, on-board, and develop a diverse team of talented people
• Maintain a collaborative, supportive, and engaging tribe culture
• Enable your squads to successfully deliver their work by supporting them through technical requirements gathering, planning, and delivery
• Inspire, mentor, and build strong relationships with the members of your tribe
• Partner closely with Product Management to deliver a best-in-class SaaS platform
• Contribute significantly to our ways of working as we scale and grow

What you’ll need:

• Experience in people and team management, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
• Experience collaborating closely with technical leaders, product team members, and other areas of the business to enable and support product objectives
• Significant experience as a software or platform engineer in an agile and cross-functional environment, preferably with experience working on performance, reliability, and scalability
• Experience working effectively with both remote and office-based teams
• Strong ability to communicate and work with technical and non-technical people alike
