We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join our Global Growth, Strategy & Analytics team. In this role, you’ll lead the commercial direction for Deliveroo Express, our innovative white-label solution, driving strategic alignment and scaling partnerships across our global restaurant, grocery, and retail portfolio.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the New Verticals business unit. Deliveroo Express is a high-growth priority, enabling partners to offer rapid delivery directly through their own sites. You will report to the Head of Commercial, Global Grocery, and work at the heart of our global scaling strategy.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a growing team of Strategic Partnership Managers, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting recruitment and onboarding.
Strategic Growth: Build and execute a clear commercial strategy and prioritisation framework to deepen existing partnerships and expand our white-label footprint.
New Business Ownership: Own the pipeline from end-to-end, leading high-stakes pitches and contract negotiations to secure long-term value.
Financial Performance: Take accountability for financial targets, tracking P&L dynamics and implementing strategic interventions to ensure the annual plan is met.
Value Proposition: Refine the Deliveroo Express partner proposition using market insights, competitor analysis, and partner feedback.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Rider Operations to ensure operational excellence and seamless integration for our white-label partners.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Essential
Commercial Expertise: Significant experience in account management, strategic partnerships, or strategy roles (typically 4–5 years).
Negotiation Skills: A proven negotiator with a track record of driving mutual value and managing complex contracts.
Analytical Power: Strong data analysis and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex insights into actionable growth strategies.
Leadership Capability: Experience in (or a strong aptitude for) leading and mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment.
Sector Knowledge: Experience within or working alongside the grocery, retail, or last-mile delivery industries.
Nice to Have
Specialised Background: Experience in FMCG, e-commerce, or scaling white-label/platform-based partnerships.
Operational Insight: A deep understanding of on-demand delivery ecosystems and operational workflows.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex programmes across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
