Job Description

Regional Sales Manager (Core London)

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you.

We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead our Core London sales team. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for a team of Field Sales Executives, ensuring they hit aggressive targets while personally supporting complex, high-stakes negotiations in the field.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be the strategic and operational lead for our most mature and competitive market. You will spend significant time on the ground, coaching your team and building relationships with the best local restaurants in London.

  • Sales Leadership & Coaching: Manage a team of direct reports to map, prospect, and close high-potential partners. You will spend substantial time in-field providing hands-on training and performance feedback.

  • Commercial Strategy: Work with cross-functional teams to structure complex deals and negotiate outcomes that drive value for both Deliveroo and our partners.

  • Pipeline Management: Own the regional sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting in Salesforce and maintaining a rigorous operating rhythm with senior stakeholders.

  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with Regional Directors to ensure local sales efforts deliver on broader regional strategies, such as closing specific Consumer Value Proposition (CVP) gaps.

  • Talent Development: Lead the hiring, onboarding, and continuous training of top-tier sales talent, while strictly managing underperformance to maintain a high-performance culture.

  • Process Improvement: Identify field-level challenges and work with the Head of Sales to implement scalable solutions and Salesforce efficiencies.

  • Market Insight: Track competitor moves and market trends in London to inform the broader UK&I sales strategy.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

We are looking for an aspiring leader with a deep understanding of the London restaurant landscape:

  • Experience: 5+ years of sales and commercial experience, including a proven track record of managing a team to hit and exceed targets.

  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to structure complex, win-win deals in a high-pressure environment.

  • Commercial Knowledge: A strong grasp of the economics of food delivery for both the platform and the merchant.

  • Leadership Qualities: Capable of influencing cross-functional colleagues and managing high-impact initiatives.

  • Tenacity: A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive under demanding targets and move at pace.

  • Linguistic Versatility: While English is essential, we highly value knowledge of languages reflecting our diverse partner base, such as Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Urdu, Spanish, or Portuguese.

Why Join Us?

At Deliveroo, you’ll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a marketplace that’s constantly evolving. Working here you can expect to:

  • 🔧 Make a visible impact: Lead the team responsible for the culinary heartbeat of our largest global market.

  • 🌱 Entrepreneurial Environment: Work with high levels of autonomy and ownership.

  • 🧠 Professional Growth: Manage complex projects and develop as a leader within a world-class sales organisation.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

At Deliveroo, we know that a great workplace reflects the world around us and that true diversity and inclusion make us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do. We’re committed to fostering an environment where everyone can do their best work and feel they belong.

If you have a disability or long-term health condition and need support to apply for one of our roles, or require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, you’ll have the opportunity to let us know once you’ve submitted your application. We’ll share details on how to request support so we can ensure you have a fair and equitable experience.

If you’re excited about making a real impact in a fast-moving marketplace and growing your career alongside ambitious, supportive teams, we’d love to hear from you!
