Your mission

As a Head of Finance at deepset you will own and shape the Finance and Legal functions, you will work closely with the C-level, and ensure compliance with accounting standards from Germany and the US.

Your impact

  • Manage external contracts with accounting firms and lawyers, and be responsible for our legal set-up with regards to customer, employee, and supplier relations
  • Create financial and operational reporting, including business performance, financial results, and variance analyses
  • Identify and design new finance and accounting processes from scratch, and set up clear metric-based operating budgets and financial projections
  • Be involved in investment processes and investor relations
  • Drive key strategic initiatives, create transparency and enable data-driven reporting for the entire business
  • Coordinate the set up of a legal entity in the US

Your profile

  • 7+ years of industry experience in the field, ideally in Germany and in the US
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or comparable field of studies
  • Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility to adjust to new contexts and changes
  • Previous experience in a startup environment is desirable
