FX & Liquidity (FX&L) Risk Analyst (12 month FTC) FX The analyst’s duty is to ensure that Currencycloud’s FX risks are within board-approved limits. In order to achieve this, the analyst will continuously monitor our client positions and take prompt remedial action when required. - Fully support the firm’s collateral management activities: - Monitor incoming collateral from clients - Approve collateral returns to clients - Issue intraday and end-of-day margin calls - Provide FX&L Manager with high level updates on open FX risk exposure- Monitor and manage collateral positions at our trading counterparties- Monitor and manage client trading limits in our back-office systems- Issue daily client position reports- Build and maintain reporting Liquidity With a global network of payment and currency providers, moving money efficiently around the world is at the core of what we do. The analyst will play a key role in ensuring that our network is well funded, and that the firm’s liquidity allocation is well reported to internal stakeholders. - Monitor balances held with our payment service providers in order to ensure seamless payment flows- Assist with the issuance of weekly, monthly, and year-end financial reports Data Data is at the core of what we need to deliver. The analyst will need to work in collaboration with the team to drive our data requirements. Relationship The analyst will be central to important company-wide discussions, projects, and tasks, and a main point of contact for risk-related client queries. - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders- Assist clients and internal stakeholders with risk-related queries- Support other departments with cross team day-to-day processes Your Skills, Knowledge and Expertise - 1 to 2 years of experience in an FX-related role, preferably in treasury operationsor risk- Control mindset – can identify processes and measures required to identify operational issues- Confident in analysing numerical data- Analytical thinker with the ability to exercise judgement- Fast learner and able to use own initiative- Effective communicator & collaborator- Confident with communicating to client and internal stakeholders-- Proficiency in Tableau/BI and/or Python are desirable
