Join our Street Hub Technical Delivery team and play a key role in delivering, supporting and improving street-level digital infrastructure across live environments.

As a trusted technical expert, you'll take ownership of network and asset issues from identification through to resolution, investigating root causes and implementing effective solutions that maximise performance and minimise disruption. You'll provide technical guidance across installation, maintenance and fault resolution activities, helping teams deliver safely, consistently and efficiently.

Working closely with internal teams, suppliers and partners, you'll ensure new designs and evolving technologies are successfully integrated into delivery, translating technical requirements into practical field solutions. You'll also create and maintain technical documentation, including build standards, design guidance and troubleshooting procedures, ensuring knowledge is captured and scalable across the business.

Reporting to the Technical Delivery Manager, you'll combine strong troubleshooting skills, technical knowledge and commercial awareness to support reliable, cost-effective deployments. Your contribution will drive improved service availability, faster issue resolution and enhanced customer experiences, supporting BT's strategic vision for scalable, connected Street Hub services.

What you’ll be doing

• Serve as the technical authority for Street Hub deployments and live operations.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve complex network and asset issues, identifying root causes and implementing lasting solutions.
• Provide expert guidance to delivery teams across installation, maintenance and fault resolution activities.
• Support the successful adoption of new technologies and designs into operational delivery.
• Maintain asset performance, reliability and service availability across the Street Hub estate.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including build standards, installation guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and partners to resolve issues and keep delivery on track.
• Monitor risks, dependencies and operational challenges, escalating where appropriate.
• Drive high standards of consistency, safety and quality across deployments and live operations.
• Support testing, validation and controlled implementation of hardware, network and platform changes.
• Analyse incident trends and recurring faults, delivering continuous improvements and long-term fixes.
• Contribute to improved customer experiences through enhanced asset performance and faster issue resolution.

The skills you’ll need

• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills within live infrastructure or networking environments.
• Experience supporting technical deployments, operations and field-based delivery activities.
• Ability to interpret technical designs and translate them into practical, scalable solutions.
• Excellent technical communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage risks, priorities and competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial awareness with an understanding of governance, compliance and delivery assurance requirements.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and resilient, with a continuous improvement mindset and relevant professional qualifications or accreditations desirable.
