Job Description

About the role

As a Technical Delivery Manager within the Mobile Deployment Team, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of any assigned deployment activities. You will manage the coordination of internal teams and delivery partners to ensure deployment activities are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the agreed quality standards.

The role will involve E2E progression of sites through the project milestones whilst controlling any risks, dependencies and performance issues and providing clear reporting as required. You will play a key role in driving the successful rollout of our build Programmes within Mobile Networks.

You will be required to undergo National Security Vetting to SC or NPPV level.

Please note - this role is a 2 year fixed term contract

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible end to end for New Site Builds and Upgrades across a variety of Deployment Programmes.
  • Working with our Partners and Small works Contractors to ensure workstreams are delivered to agreed timescales.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, to achieve project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Manage site Build Quality and Site acceptance
  • Project Reporting and logistical forecasting
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize impact on project deliverables

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Proven experience managing end‑to‑end deployment/delivery programmes.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions
  • Experience in managing project level Financial Budgets.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive accountability and delivery discipline
  • Competence in operating within controlled assurance, audit, and compliance environments
  • Experience managing delivery through third‑party suppliers, contractors, and partners

Desirable Skills / Experience

  • Background in telecommunications network deployment (e.g. site build, fibre, power, transmission)
  • Familiarity with System Tools such as Sitetracker, Nemesis, SAP
