Why this job matters

In the role of Software Engineering Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions using a diverse set of technologies including AEM, Java, Node.js, React.js, GraphQL, and Adobe Cloud services. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise in Headless CMS solutioning, APIGEE integration, GraphQL implementation, and SEO best practices to deliver seamless experiences across various channels and enhance API management and search engine visibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the enhancement of our software development processes. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of our applications.

What you’ll be doing

• Build high quality, responsive, and accessible frontend applications using Next.js, React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and modern UI frameworks.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect, performant user interfaces.
• Integrate frontend applications with AEM as a Headless CMS, leveraging content APIs, SPA Editor, and JSON/GraphQL endpoints.
• Work with backend teams to define and consume REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring smooth client-server communication.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of headless content delivery pipelines, enabling omnichannel experiences.
• Utilize Node.js and apply Java/OOP fundamentals when collaborating on backend integrations.
• Work with APIGEE for API gateway management, security enforcement, and analytics monitoring.
• Implement SEO best practices, accessibility (WCAG), performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals tuning.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Groovy scripting, Git workflows, and automated build processes.
• Write unit tests, automated tests, and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and FE standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Maintain technical documentation covering frontend architecture, integration points, and implementation details.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across frontend and AEM-integrated environments.
• Collaborate with teams using Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and Adobe Target to improve user engagement and personalization.

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on Full Stack technologies.
• Proficiency in Java / JS, OOP concepts.
• Familiarity with Adobe Cloud services, including Adobe Target, Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, Apache Sling, AEM workflows, AEM schedulers, and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and related tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Expertise in technical documentation, code reviews, and unit testing.
• Understanding of CRXDe Lite and content management processes.
• Proficiency in using IDEs like IntelliJ, VS Code, Eclipse for efficient development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of mentoring junior developers and providing technical leadership.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
