Why this job matters

Delivering quality digital features and solutions for our customers is at the heart of everything we do. As a Software Engineering Professional you will be a single point of contact liable for delivering the changes and fixing issues raised by customers across Corporate Units. The purpose of the role is to interact with stakeholders on a regular basis, to map and recognize their requirements keeping the outcome for the business in mind. All delivered in sprints

What you’ll be doing

• Developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to fit business requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code requires expertise to achieve.
• Code reviews and quality control checks should be undertaken as part of every project to guarantee maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Debugging and fixing technical problems
• Producing and running test cases to guarantee software quality.
• Documenting code and application functionality
• Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow development ensures your success.

Skills Required

• Creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
• Understanding of JIRA, REACT, Confluence and dashboarding technologies

Desirable Skills:

• Service now ITSM, CSM, ITOM module experience
• Service Now CMDB, HAM module experience
• System Integration (SOAP, Restful)
• React, Javascript, NODE.js, Python
• Databases like MySQL, Postgress, etc
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies

Experience

• Proven experience in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and systems requirements that meet business requirements.
• Service now Development experience of 2-7 years
• Experience in developing applications from scratch.
• Experience in working with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence etc.
