About the role

Wholesale channel transformation requires enabling Strategic products on the WS portal. This transformation involves building a new strategic WS portal, the underlying APIs and interlock with the Strategic Products (starting with DV). Engg Manager role is to being this Build/Engineering activity together and enable outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

• Engineering oversight for a number of applications supporting Sales and Fulfilment journeys
• Design and development of highly scalable application(s) to provide best-in-class service capabilities for BT customers to drive overall NPS for Enterprise.
• Lead a team of developers and designers to deliver software systems following the best practices of software development, DevOps and Agile
• Define the strategy and architecture of the software application and ensure it is implemented the right way.
• Technical problem solver, identifying innovative solutions to project deadlocks and resolving issues and constraints through consensus and sound judgment.
• Work closely with the Business/Operations teams to understand the business outcome, prioritization, and work to provide the best solution possible.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Expertise in the following key skills –
• Experience of leading technical team of 10+ engineers.
• Experience in complex projects or multi component integration
• Present role should be Technical Architect or Technical Lead or Engineering Manager
• SQL/NO SQL Database skills
• Experience on Micro Services, Cloud Architecture, latest design patterns
• Have a sound knowledge of today’s enterprise application technologies
• Experience in product development environments and knowledge of tools such as Git, CICD etc.
• Strong interest in learning new skills/technologies, curiosity to explore various technologies and solution approaches
• Telecom domain experience
• Certifications
