At BT, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional network solutions that meet the evolving needs of our global clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Service Operations Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to the seamless operation of our network services.

Key Responsibilities: As a Service Operations Technician, you will:

  • Manage global network faults to ensure uninterrupted service and prompt resolution
  • Execute SSR and small-scale projects to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Attend technical meetings with customers to address network issues and requirements
  • Provide on-call support and interventions outside of regular hours as needed
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Preventive Operations, incident management, and request/change management

Soft Skills:

  • Customer Focus: Prioritize customer needs aligned with business objectives
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve shared goals
  • Analytical Thinking: Evaluate complex situations to identify optimal solutions
  • Ownership: Take accountability for decisions and their outcomes
  • Effective Communication: Convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences

Professional Skills:

  • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies and network routing principles
  • Experience in fault handling and network service management
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for ticketing and change management
  • Preferred: CCNP certification

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Conversational proficiency in Spanish (mandatory)
