About the role

This role leads the team responsible for driving strategic alignment between BT and its key UK security and voice partners. It focuses on developing and executing joint go to market initiatives, enabling partner success, and accelerating growth across core sales channels.

Working cross functionally with product, sales, marketing and enablement teams, the role ensures BT fully leverages its partner ecosystem to deliver customer value, commercial impact and market differentiation.

It is central to BT’s ambition to be the most trusted provider of secure connectivity and security solutions in the UK.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead BT’s security and voice partnerships team to deliver strategic alignment and growth across core sales channels.
  • Own and manage BT’s Microsoft partnership across multiple portfolios, including Voice, Security, Licensing and Surface, ensuring strong cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Lead governance and performance management with key partners such as RingCentral and Genesys, including monthly trading reviews and QBRs.
  • Build and execute strategic partnership plans for security vendors, covering product roadmaps, go‑to‑market initiatives, enablement and vertical propositions.
  • Drive partner‑related innovation, new proposition development and sales enablement activity across BT Business.
  • Ensure commercial success through structured partnership management, reporting, compliance, and cross‑team stakeholder engagement.

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Proven leadership of high‑performing teams, with experience driving commercial outcomes and managing complex partnerships.
  • Strong partner management background within telecoms, security or tech, including C‑level stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing joint go‑to‑market strategies with major vendors or partners.
  • Strong understanding of the UK telecoms market, with commercial acumen and negotiation capability.
  • Ability to communicate complex propositions clearly and influence across product, sales, marketing and enablement functions.

Desirable Skills / Experience

  • Experience working with security and/or voice vendors (e.g., Microsoft, RingCentral, Genesys, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
