About the role

As senior operations manager you will be responsible for the strategy, resourcing and day to day running of several key ITIL functions supporting the strategic and legacy core platforms in BT International. These platforms underpin and support every key customer contract within the BT International business, this role will be essential to maintaining the stability of these networks and giving the best possible support when things go wrong. Part of this role will include managing our supplier base, driving improvements where required and making sure our partners share the high standards we require to support our customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading a 1st Line Operational team covering key functions including Change, Repair, Supplier Management and Network / System events.
• Lead on Goals and strategy for the operational unit to support Direct Customer and Non Direct Customer Service model
• Focus on recruitment of key personnel to meet the requirements of building the 1st line team / functions
• Lead / support operational escalations across several wide-ranging products
• Continuous Improvement of key functions including Change, Repair, Supplier Management and Network / System events.

Essential Skills / Experience
