Why this job matters

To manage and administer network security technologies for BT and its Global customers.
Customer facing role for security operational teams having hands-on experience on security product and support on IT Security based services to a specified group of external global/corporate customers encompassing Change and Incident Management, Customer services, enquiries, fault diagnosis/resolution and problem management.
Position is based out of Gurgaon 24x7 Global Security Operational Centre

Roles and Responsibilities

Form an integral part of 24*7 rota to provide security in-life support
Be a Subject Matter Expert for technology & customer infrastructure network
Triage, Review, and implement security specific changes in line with Customer security policies and change control processes.
Identifying areas of Service Improvement Program (SIP) for key clients and reducing incidents
Review code upgrade and test implement before rolling on to production
Review documentation Recognizes successful intrusions and compromises through review and analysis of relevant event detail information
To provide reactive incident support via NGSD , attending customer troubleshooting calls, providing detailed analysis and fixing issues within contractual obligation and SLA
Adhere to change and incident management process. Represent on CAB for complex technical issues
Drive new product launches & technology training
To ensure that all agreed communication, notification , updates are delivered in timely manner
Mentoring and supporting collegues with knowledge sharing on issues, technology platform

As an Individual contributor , accountable for respective deliverables area.
Form an integral part of a 24 hour on call support rota to provide 24x7 support to global customers.
Ensure full awareness of the need to safeguard sensitive customer information at all times, so that customers perceive BT to be a trustworthy organisation.
To share technical knowledge with in the team and participate in cross skilling activities

Skills

Mandatory: Hands-on experience in operation and management of security infrastructure.
Five to Eight years of experience on following products/technologies
Next Gen Palo Alto, Fortinet ,Firewalls on SDWAN, Cloud Security, IPS/IDS, ForeScout.
Implementation and operation support experience on F5 LTM,GTM, ASM, AFM
Identity and access managent knowledge on OKTA,CyberArk
IPS policy management, signature fine tuning.
Knowledge and working knowledge of proxy solutions like Zscaler, Symantec
Knowledge of device health monitoring tools and systems
Stakeholder management and ability to work under pressure
Effective oral and written communication

Experience you would be expected to have
Experience of working in a global security operation environment, ticketing-tools like remedy, Service Now and exposure to ITIL processes in context of service operations is a plus
CCSP//PCNSE/NSE4 preffered
Professional Qualification such as B.E./B.Tech/MCA
Diploma in a relevant field is Acceptable
