About the role

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver PMO services across complex programmes and customer contracts, ensuring governance, reporting and controls are consistently applied.
• Manage programme reporting, risks, issues, dependencies and key delivery obligations to support successful outcomes.
• Partner with programme teams and stakeholders to provide accurate delivery insight and support informed decision-making.
• Improve PMO processes, tools and ways of working, helping to increase efficiency, consistency and service quality.
• Support delivery assurance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the wider PMO function.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Strong PMO delivery experience, with the ability to provide structured project controls, reporting, risk and issue management across complex programmes or contracts.
• Governance and assurance expertise, including establishing and maintaining effective governance frameworks, delivery oversight and performance reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence at different levels and communicate clear delivery insights to senior stakeholders.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience working within large-scale technology, telecommunications, defence or government environments.
• Knowledge of PMO methodologies and recognised project or programme management frameworks such as P3O.
• Experience improving PMO services through process simplification, automation or digital tooling.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Experience operating within complex, multi-stakeholder delivery environments.
