About the role

The Business CFO rely on Digital, and more specifically Secure Platforms, to underpin the services that they provide to their customers. This role provides technical deliverables that underpin the service management platforms for Enterprise customers, generating revenue circa 50-60m per annum.

The Infrastructure Engineering Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring these platforms are engineered to a high standard, resilient by design, and capable of meeting stringent availability, security, and regulatory requirements. The role provides the deep technical expertise required to design, evolve, and assure complex infrastructure components that sit at the heart of customer‑facing services.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy and direction from platform architect, the Infrastructure Engineering Specialist independently drives the execution of the vision of key technologies within the infrastructure landscape. They translate architectural intent into actionable, production-ready solutions, ensuring platforms remain git for purpose as demand, risk, and customer expectations evolve.

Through their work, the specialist reduces operational risk, enables service growth, and ensures that secure platforms continue to deliver measurable business value at scale.
