Job Description

Closing Date: 02/10/2026

Location: London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester

This is a field-based role, with regular travel required across the UK.

Why this job matters

As a Corporate Account Manager, you’ll manage and grow a portfolio of high-profile Retail and Charity customers, building trusted relationships and delivering solutions that drive retention, growth and exceptional customer experiences. You’ll be at the heart of the customer relationship, spending at least three days a week in the field, understanding their business and identifying opportunities to grow. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll lead account and win plans, shape commercial opportunities and showcase the value of BT and EE’s network, products and services. If you’re a confident, commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, winning business and making an impact, this could be the role for you.

What you’ll be doing

• Build and grow strong customer relationships, creating long-term, profitable partnerships and managing escalations when needed.
• Understand your customers — their needs, challenges and future plans — and turn these into opportunities for BT.
• Own clear account plans that identify growth opportunities, competition and how BT can win.
• Deliver the right solutions using your knowledge of BT’s products and services, while keeping the customer experience at the heart of everything you do.
• Drive customer satisfaction and build lasting loyalty.
• Develop senior customer relationships and create an effective contact strategy.
• Drive new business and revenue growth, managing opportunities and resources to maximise results.
• Keep learning and developing, staying up to date with BT’s full portfolio and confidently selling our value proposition.

The skills you’ll need

• Sales & account growth: Proven ability to retain, develop and grow customer accounts while achieving revenue, sales and customer satisfaction targets.

• Customer relationships: Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels and become a trusted customer partner.

• Commercial account management: Experience creating account plans, identifying growth opportunities and leading commercial conversations to deliver successful outcomes.

Desirable skills

• Ability to build and maintain a strong sales and growth pipeline.

• Confident working within commercial and contractual guidelines, using escalation routes when required.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bring internal teams together to deliver for customers.

• A customer-first mindset, with a focus on retention, loyalty and exceptional customer experience.

• Commercial awareness and the ability to understand market competition and clearly communicate the value of BT’s products, services and network.

Here are some of the great benefits we offer

• 65% on target bonus
• Company car provided, as this is a field-based role.
• BT Pension scheme, minimum 5% Employee contribution, BT contribution 10%
• From January 2025, equal family leave: receive 18 weeks at full pay, 8 weeks at half pay and 26 weeks at the statutory rate. It’s for all parents, no matter how your family is made up.
• Enhanced women’s health support: including help with menopause symptoms, cancer screenings, period care and more.
• 25 days annual leave (not including bank holidays), increasing with service
• 24/7 private virtual GP appointments for UK colleagues
• 2 weeks carer’s leave
• World-class training and development opportunities
• Option to join BT Shares Saving schemes.

Our working model

Hybrid policy: Three in the office, two remote

Join us at a pivotal moment for BT Business. We are executing a multi-year transformation to restore growth, modernise at scale and unlock new markets beyond connectivity. Our ambition is clear – return to sustainable revenue and EBITDA growth, strengthen our market position, and deliver meaningful shareholder value through disciplined execution and bold reinvention.

We are fundamentally reshaping the business – simplifying our portfolio, digitising our customer experience and building market-leading capability across cyber, AI and managed services, all powered by the UK’s leading fixed and mobile networks. This is a shift from a legacy connectivity provider to a modern, solutions-led, AI-first business that can truly differentiate in a competitive and fast-moving market.

With execution momentum building and a clear path to growth, the opportunity now is to scale what works, accelerate performance and fully realise our potential. This is about delivering against ambitious financial outcomes while transforming how we operate – creating a business that is simpler, faster, more innovative and easier to do business with.
