Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • To make a significant contribution to company's sales revenue by hunting new opportunities in the market covering global requirements
  • Person would be responsible for all parameters such as order booking, Revenue, EBITDA, customer experience etc…
  • Work with customers across region.
  • To define, develop and own key customer relationships and customer contact strategy

Business Impact:

  • Medium-term business strategy and objectives typically guide this role, although there may be involvement in the formulation and development of future policy.
  • Impact is primarily short-term but may develop plans over the medium term.
  • Assesses customer relationships and service level.

Authority/Decision Making:

  • Able to engage at mid to senior management level both internally and externally to within well defined limits of delegation.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree with management & relevant job experience

Skills/Experience:

  • Relevant hunting experience working with Telecom Service Providers in the sales function.
  • Good leadership skills in managing, motivating and coaching.
  • Strong presentation skills & knowledge of various portfolio of services.
  • Person should have minimum of 15+ unique sales experience with focus on hunting new opportunities & working with existing customers for cross sell/up. In-depth knowledge of BT’s portfolio and combining with systems integrators models to open new areas.
  • Ability to work with client to work on areas where we can work together and grow business exponentially.
  • Demonstrate engagement with key stakeholders in the market.

About the role

The Account Manager (B2B) (business to business) manages account retention and growth plans and drives customer success and strengthening of services solutions.

What you’ll be doing

1. Drives business accounts serving as a lead escalation contact through the lifecycle of various customers.
2. Monitors highly strategic opportunities (e.g., very large, long-term, high-impact) within accounts and facilitates with the customer on how to best identify new opportunities, leveraging deep customer and industry relationships.
3. Monitors and develops a team of account facing reps enabling an ability to drive outcomes within the portfolio of accounts areas by promoting BT group services and solutions.
4. Facilitates the review of sales results, monitoring productivity, forecasting and quota setting and contributes to evaluating territories and market share to secure opportunities.
5. Ensures customer needs and challenges are communicated and understood by cross functional teams.
6. Drives customer success plans that track program and revenue goals and execution towards those goals.
7. Directs the account management team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives.
8. Champions, continuously develops and shares with team, knowledge on emerging trends and changes in account management.
9. Coaches talent, and manages others, to develop capabilities and ensure performance through upskilling, development and recruitment.
10. Implement ways to improve working processes within the area of account management responsibility.
