What you’ll be doing
You’ll join a highly experienced and friendly business partnering team who are a key link between Finance and Underwriting functions here. This is a two-way process whereby the business partner team and the underwriters share insight and analysis in relation to the underwriting performance of the business.
Primarily, you’ll support in understanding and articulating the performance of our underwriting business with a strong emphasis towards analytics and the ability to work unsupervised, and to tight deadlines. In doing so, you’ll assist the business partners throughout the financial ‘lifecycle’, which includes support during business planning, analysis of actual performance and reforecasting, whilst also being critical in the maintenance and development of the underlying data analysis.
As a thorough individual who is driven to deliver high quality timely and accurate analysis, you’ll be capable of evaluating requirements, developing and maintaining models. Your experience with data analytics and understanding system / application capabilities will allow you to build a strong knowledge of the business, allowing accurate interpretation of results and producing ad-hoc business requests as required.
A flexible approach to work is required in this role and the ability to use your initiative whilst being involved in several ongoing deliveries at any time. A superb opportunity with a high degree of nurturing and support to begin or grow a career within Finance and develop existing analytical and systems skills acquired in your previous work environment(s), within an educational setting, or both!
We welcome everyone wholeheartedly
We’ve got a truly diverse, genuinely inclusive work environment. We comfortably and confidently bring our whole selves to work, because we know we’ll be respected, valued and accepted whoever we are.
