Your Mission

The main responsibility of the role is to support the People team through co-ordination and completion of the onboarding process for new starters including relevant pre-boarding, onboarding and induction administration tasks are completed to the highest standard possible. The role will also assume a level of responsibility around ensuring that our HRIS is kept up to date and all information is accurate including the organizational structure whilst also supporting the Facilities Manager with ad hoc office duties.

This role is Hybrid with the expectation of working from boxxe headquarters in York 2 days per week.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the People Team by co-ordinating administrative tasks supporting all areas of the function.
  • Co-ordinate organisation of induction days liaising with relevant hiring managers to ensure that meetings are booked in and facilitated where necessary ahead of time.
  • Be the go-to person for our new boxxers pre-joining, ensuring that each prospective new boxxer is engaged and excited prior to their first day.
  • Assist with ensuring that the boxxe onboarding process is unrivalled through continuous improvement and regular review of our processes.
  • Support in managing our people system to ensure that it is kept up to date in the capacity of people and administration.
  • Work with our People Partner to complete the vetting process for new starters and stakeholders.
  • Support with all other administrative tasks as and when they arise including payroll, leavers, employee relations and community.
  • Assist with recruitment admin during busy periods of hiring.
  • Take an active role in ensuring the wellbeing of staff by supporting co-ordination of wellbeing events and tasks.
  • Support the management of team inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner.
  • Support the Health & Safety & Facilities Manager with office and facilities related tasks and holiday cover.
  • Assist in any other tasks within capabilities and training to maintain and improve services within the premises.

What experience we think you’ll need

  • Proven experience as an people coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, in particular)
  • Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • CIPD certification is an advantage but not essential
