We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our R&D Department. This position is part of Boomi following its recent acquisition of Rivery, a cloud-based DataOps platform. While now under Boomi, the role remains within Rivery’s team, working closely with our experts in data integration and automation. You can read more about the acquisition here.

Please also note that this is a hybrid office/remote role where you will work 3 days per week from our Ramat Gan office; and 2 days from home.

In this role you will

• Develop End-to-end features from design to implementation.
• Taking part in high-scale solutions for Big Data challenges.
• Have a significant impact on a fast-growth and dynamic product in the BigData world.
• Work and collaborate with Software engineers, Architects, Product Managers, and DevOps to create an amazing product.

Our technology stack: Python, React, MongoDB, AWS, DynamoDB.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a Backend Developer.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience working with services in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Excitement for contributing to innovative product development and making a meaningful impact as an individual contributor.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive can-do attitude.

Advantages

• Experience with Docker, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Kafka etc.
• Experience with a Cloud DWH / Data Lake Engine such as Athena, Spark, Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
