We are currently seeking a Senior Project Controller who will be responsible for maintaining an overview of allocated Projects, ensuring business processes and procedures are followed, generating accurate management information as required and providing essential services, advice, and expertise to Bid Managers and Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of allocated Projects.

Within the overall remit the Project Controller will take on the more complex projects of the portfolio, as well as providing support, guidance to the existing Project Controller colleagues. This role can be based out of either Adelaide or Perth and we are also opened to other locations where we have offices for the right candidate.

In this role you will be:

  • Ensure budgets and schedules are updated to reflect actual contract content. Ensure these updates are recorded and recognised as the Project Baseline.

  • Set-up and record project details within management information systems.

  • Ensure bid-stage project information and feedback is properly recorded in management information systems.

  • Support bidding teams with clear work breakdown structures, budgeting and scheduling services relating to bid-stage budgeting and scheduling of project activities.

  • Ensure that all developments and evolutions of the project are properly documented and reflected in prompt updates to management information systems.

  • Monitor delivery against contract and ensure that areas of potential (and actual) contract variation are identified and managed in accordance with the provisions of the contract and the PMO’s processes.

  • Archiving of project-control related materials

  • Recording and assessment of project-related learning for feedback.

Relevant Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Confidence with data manipulation, management information systems and MS-Excel

  • Experience and qualification as a Project Manager
