  • Define and manage certification and regulatory requirements for the Class systems and sub‑systems, including certification methods, assurance activities, and evidence expectations.
  • Assure ongoing materiel conformity through configuration management, certification surveillance, configuration audits, and assessment of engineering changes against the Certification Basis.
  • Manage and review certification evidence, ensuring Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) is complete, traceable, and sufficient to support certification decisions and seaworthiness assurance.

About you

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in Material Certification or Verification & Validation (V&V) within a Defence context.
  • Understanding of the Naval technical regulatory environment and seaworthiness principles.
