Job Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- To achieve growth across our DIY product portfolio by leading product development and implementation of supporter journeys
- To lead on management of fundraising operations and central processes and communications to help grow the number of regional supporters across the UK and maximise
income. - To work alongside the Involvement & Engagement Manager and Volunteer Experience Coordinator to ensure regional volunteer needs are represented in the development of the central volunteer framework.
- Line management of Regional Relationship Coordinator post
- To identify and implement new digital ways of working across the Regional Relationships Team and supporter network to support our Digital Transformation strategy.
- To ensure CRM processes enable best practice to be applied across the Regional Relationship Team.
- Contribute to the Regional Relationship’s team planning and the Public Fundraising & Individual Giving Division’s strategic plans and provide information to feed into management reports as required.
- Be an ambassador, supporting the delivery of Blood Cancer UK’s vision and ensuring that the charity’s profile and reputation are enhanced.
- Champion regional relationship engagement and activity to ensure that organisationally we are maximising our interactions most effectively for the greatest return.
- Be open to innovation and improvement in all areas through research and development and horizon scanning for new opportunities.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Skills knowledge and experience
- Experience in one or more of the following: community/regional fundraising, mass participation product fundraising; challenge event management, regional corporate fundraising
- Project management experience, particularly relating to fundraising product development or supporter journey development
- Ability to write compelling copy and communications to share information with and influence mass audiences across all channels.
- Experience of managing fundraising products/campaigns, from conception to
- Excellent interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills and ability to represent the charity externally.
- Experience of using a charity CRM and reporting system (knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Power BI reports would be desirable)
- Understanding of digital fundraising tools and best practice (or willingness to develop knowledge in this area)
- Understanding of blood cancer issues (or willingness to develop knowledge of these issues) and the ability to deal sensitively and empathetically with these issues in practice
- Ability to work well within a team and independently, undertaking own tasks and managing priorities as required
