About the OPPORTUNITY

Ideally based at our Edinburgh Park Offices, however we would consider candidates from Melbourne. We currently have an opportunity for a Workplace Sustainability Analyst. The Sustainability Analyst is responsible for developing and managing data analytics capability to support company stewardship and Carbon Net Zero objectives. As a member of Workplace Solutions function, the role will focus on Built Environment’s influence and contribution to environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Through data analysis, identify and drive energy strategies and carbon reduction programs.
  • Develop and manage sustainability reporting for Built Environment.
  • Provide insights into energy demand, water usage and re-use / recycling opportunities to maximise BAE Systems Australia sustainability outcomes.
  • Develop and evaluate strategic programs to achieve improve environmental performance in line with company targets.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote continued participation and engagement in sustainability programs.
  • Identify carbon reduction opportunities with appropriate consideration to business value.
  • Maintenance of BAE Systems Australia Built Environment – Carbon Footprint (GHG)

About YOU

  • Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Essential).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to use and adapt written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of different audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in data management and analysis, and experience in a variety of data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of sustainability issues in the built environment.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in internal and/ or external environmental reporting.
  • Significant experience at working with and fostering relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
